Wild Dunes Community Association has five standing advisory committees that assist the Board in formulating plans and programs and in selecting committee members and candidates for the Board of Directors.  The Board may also establish special task forces and ad-hoc committees as specific needs and issues arise.  The Architectural Review Committee is separate from the standing committees and is covered under its own section on this website.

Committee members are initially appointed for one year with the expectation of renewal up to three years.  The Board may extend or reduce any term at its discretion.  Individual Committee Chairpersons report quarterly to the Board and at such other times as the Board may request.

Beach and Open Space Advisory Committee

Preserving and enhancing our beaches is a top priority.  Dick Cronin, Board President in 2004, established a beach task force in April 2004 and the task force was continued as an advisory committee in 2005.

This committee identifies, actively seeks and recommends candidates for annual vacancies on the Board of Directors, the Treasurer's position and Advisory Committee Chairpersons.
