Architectural Review Committee

ARC Interest Standardized Form

The Architectural Review Committee and the ARC Administrator, Hans Altenbach:

  • Work with property owners to achieve the objectives of the ARC
  • Ensure plans meet WDCA standards and guidelines
  • Issue Wild Dunes building permits
  • Inspect construction for compliance with approved plans and ARC guidelines
  • Communicate with owners, contractors, etc. on all matters affecting the property
  • Hear appeals on ARC decisions
  • Recommend changes of standards and procedures to the Board as experience dictates

The ARC has jurisdiction in the following areas:

  • All properties inside the Wild Dunes Security Gates, except Destination Wild Dunes properties and commercial amenities (i.e. golf clubhouse, tennis center)
  • Lots 15-19 on 43rd Avenue, lots 15-18 on 44th Avenue, lots 15 and 17 on 45th Avenue, lots 2, 4, 6 and 8 on 53rd Avenue and all lots on 54th though 57th Avenues

The ARC Members in 2012 are:

  • Hans Altenbach, ARC Administrator (non-voting) 
  • Ricia Horton (term expires 8/11)
  • Kathy Ginas (term expires 4/12)
  • Jerrye Scofield (term expires 4/12)
  • Linda Williams (term expires 8/12)
  • George Picadio (term expires 6/14)
  • Gary Nunn (term expires 7/14)

Each member serves a three-year term and members rotate off annually. 

Communications relative to ARC matters, including submittal of plans, requests for meetings with the staff or ARC, should be made in writing and addressed to:
