The Wild Dunes Community Association is a private, nonprofit, incorporated organization in which all property owners are members and share ownership of the common properties.

Definition of a Community Association

The Community Association provides continuity to the Wild Dunes neighborhood by insuring architectural integrity, maintaining common properties, providing services to owners, promoting community feeling and protecting  property values.  All community associations have three basic, defining characteristics:

  • Membership in the association is mandatory and automatic for all owners.
  • Governing documents create a binding relationship between each owner and the association.
  • Mandatory assessments are charged to each owner to fund the operation of the association and maintenance of the common properties.

Purpose of a Community Association
People who choose to live in private communities value the benefits of community association living.  Community associations are created to:
  • Manage the common properties.
  • Manage the property interests of the owners.
  • Provide services to the owners.
