The intended function of the Beach House is to provide parking, shelter and beach access for the enjoyment and relaxation of property owners and their guests.
The downstairs enclosed room may be reserved for social events and meetings directly sponsored and attended by property owners.
Experience has shown the need for the following rules to maintain the intended function of the Beach House and to keep the Beach House a special place with a “residential” feeling.
RULES - GENERAL
1. All facilities, except the enclosed room, are available to all property owners from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., 7 days per week.
2. The Beach House is NOT authorized for rental guests.
3. Vehicles using the Beach House parking lot must display a square bordered decal, a property owners’ pass or a visitors’ pass stamped “POBH”. The “POBH” stamp is only authorized to property owners’ houseguests or property owners’ guests attending special events.
4. The reservation is for the enclosed room on the main floor only.
5. The outside tables, chairs, decks and picnic tables MAY NOT be reserved. Use of the outside facilities are on a first come…first serve basis. Owners MAY NOT decorate the outside area, set up tables and/or chairs, nor set up food, beverages, coolers, etc. Outside furniture MAY NOT be moved inside, nor inside furniture moved outside.
6. Music is NOT allowed outside.
7. Events, games, etc. which require dedicated outside space are NOT PERMITTED.
8. Oyster roasts are not permitted on the porch deck.
RULES - ENCLOSED ROOM
1. Property owners who reserve the enclosed room MUST BE PRESENT during the entire reservation period and assume responsibility for following these rules.
2. Property owners may reserve the enclosed room for monthly repetitive groups such as book clubs, bridge clubs, aerobics, etc. Such events must consist of a majority of Wild Dunes property owners and must be Wild Dunes community organizations only.
3. Property owners may reserve the enclosed room for events that they are hosting (i.e. birthday parties, wedding receptions, non-commercial meetings, etc.).
4. Reservations are limited to a four hour (maximum) period between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.
5. Property owners reserving the Beach House enclosed room must execute and return the “Property Owners Beach House Confirmation” form, along with a security deposit in the amount of $50.00, before the reservation is considered confirmed.
6. A list of non-resident guests and number of vehicles must be given to security at least 24 hours in advance for preparation of vehicle passes. You may drop off this list in person at the Main Gate or send via facsimile to 886-2129.
7. Music is permitted in the enclosed room and must be at an acceptable volume level.
8. No smoking is permitted in the enclosed room.
9. Clean up must be made immediately following the event, to an acceptable condition, including depositing trash in the bin located inside the latticed enclosure at the east side of the parking lot. Cleaning supplies are located in the closet and under the kitchen sink.
10. Before leaving the reserved enclosed room, you MUST call Security at 886-2128 and wait for their arrival so they can check the room for cleanliness and lock the doors.
11. Property owners may be billed for damages and extra cleaning costs and may have Beach House privileges suspended for any violation of these rules.
12. The enclosed room is limited to 60 persons.
13. There are four 42” square tables, four 36” square tables and 32 chairs for seating.
The key to the Beach House may be picked up from the front Security Gate approximately 45 minutes prior to your reservation.
